Caden's Newborn Session

As a former paparazzi, one of the things I knew I wanted to do right away when baby boy was here was to have a fancy schmancy newborn photo session. We've all seen the pics of those babies that never cry and are always smiling in their sleep:

Photographers recommend that newborn pics be taken within the first 7 days of the baby's birth so they're nice and sleepy. Caden had jaundice and I just wasn't feeling up to it right after coming home from the hospital. I waited 10 days. How did baby's first photo shoot go??? Not only did he not sleep one second, but he peed on the props. :) After two hours, we gave up on the sleepy smiley shots. Of course, he promptly passed out in the car as we left the photographer's studio.
